Founder and C.E.O. of WhyFarm shared his testimonial of his experience at the Premio CEMEX-TEX. He has been declared one of three recipients of the Premio CEMEX- TEC global award in the category of social entrepreneurship.
At this moment they called my name and I was like me?
I had just spent an entire week with 14 social entrepreneurs from all over the world who are working tirelessly to change their communities to make the world a better place.
I fell in love with each of their game changing ideas as they were all creatively creating systemic change, solving real problems and inspiring other youths to do the same.
I really wished we could have all win the final prize as each and everyone of them was well deserving of the award to exponentially grow their projects.
As much as I felt kinda excited walking on stage, I also felt a bit horrible because I really wish we could have shared the award with everyone. And maybe some of them may have deserved it more than I did.
At one of the last sessions, it was really amazing how Everyone helped each other prepare their pitch and it was as though no one was competing and we were all there to share and care to help excel and accelerate each other.
Thank you Premio CEMEX-TEC. The real win was the network and friendship that was built. I encourage all my social entrepreneur friends across the globe to sign up for this award next year. We created memories, moments and movements to contribute to the change that we need. #ThankYoufortheUpportunity
